Kurt Hogan,

Hogan is a Boston native and former media artist, newscaster, and actor, who spent his young adulthood In New York.  While residing in "The Big Apple", Hogan worked on a series of TV shows and films on both sides of the camera for companies, including HBO/Showtime, American Playhouse, and The Apollo, in addition to TV commercials and Music Videos during the dawn of MTV.

Hogan is a former adjunct professor of journalism, TV News-writing, and News Production where he taught at Hampton University while hosting an R&B and Jazz show on WHOV 88.1 FM: The Kurt Hogan Show.  

He is the founder and CEO of the production company, KDH Media, through which "Home Sweet Home, Hampton Roads", a real estate reality TV show was produced, and aired on CW Network and ABC.

Hogan holds a BS and MA in Journalism and Media Management. 

He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Terry a O'Neal,

Named among the most popular African American female writers of our time, featured in a book entitled “Literary Divas: The Top 100+ Most Admired African American Women in Literature”–a list of women who’ve left a mark on the broader world through their writing, Terry a. O’Neal is the author of four volumes of poetry, including The Poet Speaks in Black and The Sparrow’s Plight: Woes of a 21st Century Black Poet; two children’s books, and the award-winning fiction novel Sweet Lavender. Her works are world-renowned; O’Neal has been featured on PBS, CNN, FOX television, and a host of television, radio, and print media programs. 

O’Neal is well-known for her dedication and time devoted to uplifting today’s youth, encouraging them to “carry out their dream, no matter how unlikely it may seem”.

O’Neal was an adjunct instructor of Introduction to Communications, English Composition, and Literature. She is an activist for youth literacy and holds a BS in Communications and a Master of Arts in Education.

Andrea Burrise,

Andrea Burrise is an attorney, mother of two, and founder of Relax Meditation Lab, a wellness organization that promotes relaxation, acceptance, and healing.

 

As a former teacher, elected school board member, and current volunteer coach for an inner city high school mock trial team, Andrea has a passion for pouring into the youth of her community with the belief that by doing so we can have a brighter tomorrow.

 

Andrea’s other passions include writing and anything that allows her to be surrounded by nature

Mike O'Neal, Jr. 

Mike O’Neal is an entrepreneur, project manager, consultant, master barber, and indie music artist with a passion for the arts.

He is a California native, currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. O'Neal is a natural born artist who is driven by his passion to harness his creative talents and inspiration to elevate communities. 

As a detail-oriented and accomplish-driven man, he is also highly motivated by his passion to be successful, while fulfilling his life's purpose in providing opportunities to educate, inspire, and support community organizations; this is what keeps him moving ahead.

Constance Joyner, 

Constance “Cee Jaye” Joyner received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California – Riverside. She began her career as a nurse and transitioned into higher education where she received the opportunity to teach an inaugural elective social justice course for the summer S.T.E.M. programs at the University of California - Los Angeles; and on the same campus, she is currently, the Community Outreach and Engagement Program Coordinator for UCLA College Corps. In addition to writing for online publications, Cee Jaye wrote an episodic series for NY Public Access Television, is a published academic journalist, playwright, and screenwriter, and enjoyed her time as a staff writer and columnist for a London magazine. She is based in Southern California. Fun Fact: She collects and wears unique Crocs.

Demiko Aiken, Photographer and Videographer, has been capturing the essence of events and weddings locally, nation-wide, and internationally since 2015. Kwame Rakes,

Kwame Rakes is an actor, filmmaker,  producer, voice over artists, and public speaker. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Norfolk State University in 1999. With a passion for the arts, Rakes works in the community sharing his knowledge with aspiring, young performers and artists.  He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Sonya E. Gray-Gordon,

Gray-Gordon is a literacy specialist with Hampton City Schools. She is a former English teacher and holds 25 years of experience in the field of education. In addition to her career in education, she is the author of the children’s book entitled, “I Made It”. Gray-Gordon holds a Master of Arts in Education, and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
